Lula dramatically wins election in Brazil

Neutral summary
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, 80, was reelected on Sunday, defeating Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, in the runoff, according to Brazil's electoral court. The court said Lula won 51.8% of the vote with 100% counted, a lead of nearly 4.4 million votes, per AP. Bolsonaro had led in the first round on October 4, and Lula's win is the first comeback from second place since the country's return to democracy. A last-minute decision by Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin to extend voting by two hours was reported, and AP said it may trigger legal action by Bolsonaro; Jiji Press said Bolsonaro's side could refuse to accept the result. Bolsonaro had not yet responded, per AP. Lula's term begins January 5, 2027, lasting four years. Lula is described as a critic of Donald Trump, and the result was reported as keeping Brazil independent of US influence amid Trump's tariffs.
Where accounts differ. Vote shares differ slightly across outlets (51.8% in AP and Jiji, 51.76% in Amar Desh), and Jiji and AP differ on whether Bolsonaro's side is expected to challenge the result, which only AP reports as legal action and Jiji reports as possible refusal to accept.

About this method
Method. Bias types follow the Table of Media Bias Elements and the Media Bias Taxonomy (both CC BY 4.0). The impartiality rules follow the BBC Editorial Guidelines and the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. The score is calculated from the seven answers, never generated.
What this is not. No outlet gets a standing bias rating, and there is no left/right axis, because that axis does not describe Bangladeshi politics. Each analysis covers one article about one event. Members' analytics count how each outlet's headlines were labelled over a chosen period, with the number of headlines behind every share, and also show the average score of an outlet's scored articles: that average describes those articles (mostly each story's lead), not the outlet, and outlets are never ranked by it or by any share.
Known limits. Headlines are grouped into stories automatically, so an unrelated headline sometimes slips in; it is shown faded rather than hidden. Where outlets carry the same wire copy, the comparison has little to show. Human annotators agree on bias in Bangla news only moderately (κ = 0.574 at best), which limits what any automated score can claim.
